We met at a winery tasting room and bonded over a shared passion of wine, food, and travel. We experimented with making wine first from a kit, then making the long drive from Southern California to Sonoma and Napa to buy wine grapes which we transported to our garage and made into fairly decent wine.

But, it was our dream to one day have our own vineyard and make premium wines. By a fortunate set of circumstances, Lynn ended up in Sonoma county where she fell in love with the beauty and lifestyle, finally persuading John to relocate in 2013. We found a piece of property in the lower Russian River AVA, and developed it into gardens, with a hospitality and winemaking barn, and yes, the vineyard! 225 vines were planted in 2014, and we are enjoying our 7th harvest now.

John has a background in Chemistry and has worked in the Kendall Jackson laboratory here in Sonoma County. He continues to absorb as much winemaking knowledge as he can by taking classes at the local Junior College, attending monthly meetings of winegrowers, and being involved in mentoring beginning home winemakers. He has won many medals for his beautifully crafted wines over the past 10 years.

Lynn continues to be his most harsh critic and head taster. She cares for the gardens, and designs the labels, organizes the bottling and harvest parties, and manages the Winery Cottage that hosts 100s of guests each year.

Yes, we are truly living the Dream!
